Sue Ann Haney-Place was born March 18, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late David Jasper Haney and Helen Loraine (Tucker) Fingers. Sue departed this life at Missouri Baptist Medical Center on March 23, 2018, having reached the age of Seventy years and Six days.
Sue was united in marriage to James Place on June 8, 1998, in Potosi, Missouri.
Sue is survived by her loving husband James Place of Cadet, MO, four daughters, Ashley Boyer and husband Terry of Cadet, MO, Jenny Dicus and husband Kevin of Potosi, MO, Shelia Chapman and Martin Stewart of Cadet, MO, and Barbara Tomich of Cadet, MO, four sons, Ronnie Stephens of Cadet, MO, Butch Tomich and wife Tracy of Potosi, MO, Billy Place of Cadet, MO, Shawn Place and wife Brandy of Cadet, MO, four sisters, Charlotte Bennett of Lawrence, KS, Margie Haney of Farmington, TX, Jackie Buckley and husband Michael of Killer, TX, Linda Baldridge and husband Ron of Grandprarie, TX, five brothers, Danny Haney and wife Patty of Lawrence, KS, David Fingers of Park Hills, MO, Ricky Fingers of Potosi, MO, Randy Fingers of Potosi, MO, Robert Maloney of Hope AK, 26 grandchildren, many great grandchildren other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents Sue was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard Daniel Settlemyre and Robert Settlemyre, two sisters, Marilyn Fingers and Cathy Haney, two brothers, Allen Fingers and Jeffery Fingers, three grandchildren, Amber Stephens, Suszann Place and Alexander Tomich, and one great granddaughter, Rane Marcotte.
Sue enjoyed spending time with family and being outside, camping, gardening, BBQ, and other outdoor activities.
