Gladys Marie Pryor (Parmley) was born in Potosi, MO on August 2nd, 1921. Gladys earned her wings to Heaven on February 23rd, 2018 in Rome, GA.
The daughter of Effie Skiles and Howard Parmley of Potosi, MO. She is preceded in death by husbands James H. Wishon and Cleo W. Pryor. She is also preceded by a daughter Janet M. Rolens, son in law Floyd (Dude) Rolens and grandchildren Mike Skelton, Brian Skelton, and Kelly Lubich.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley Hindle (husband Roy) of Rome, GA. Granddaughters Lisa McManis (husband Daniel McManis) of Potosi, Denise Hindle (Sandra Arthur) of Jackson, GA., Cherie McCann (husband Frank McCann) of Rome, GA. and Dawn Bishop (husband Paul) of Florida. Grandsons Steve Skelton (wife Michelle) of Potosi, Danny Rolens (wife Tina) of Cadet, and Chris Rolens (wife Jaime) of Potosi.
She also had 17 great grandchildren Danny Joe Rolens, Joseph Skelton, Jordan Skelton, Kaylee Skelton and Garrett Skelton. Brian (Boomer), Sam and Danielle Skelton. Jessica Riddle,
Chandler Barton, Megan Pruitt, Trevor Rolens, Tyler Rolens and Ashley Evans, Frank and Colin McCann. Ashley Rodriguez, Kelley McCann and Carey Baker.
She also had many great-great grandchildren.
Gladys loved more than anything her daughters and her grandchildren. Her life revolved around them with a lot of family vacations and travel.
Her life was an example of one that was lived well, loved well and will be remembered forever. A beautiful, loving mother and grandmother and cherished friend who will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
