Roscoe Daniel  Sappington
Roscoe Daniel Sappington of Potosi, Missouri departed this life surrounded by the love and care of his family at his residence on February 19, 2018, having reached the age of eighty-nine years, nine months and eighteen days. Roscoe was born May 1, 1928, a son of the late Wilty William Sappington and the late Fanny Catherine Cresswell Sappington.
Roscoe was united in marriage to Bernadette Pashia on January 5, 1957 in Waterloo, IL.
Roscoe is survived by his wife, Bernadette Sappington; two daughters, Linda Cook and husband Thomas of St. Peters, MO, Gale “Roxy” Lupien and husband Dirk of Festus, MO; two sons, Danny Sappington and wife Sheila of Potosi, MO, Tim Sappington and wife Cindy of Pilot Knob, MO; one sister, Bertha LeMasters and husband Bill of Lebanon, MO; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Roscoe was preceded in death by; one sister, Allie Connelly; two brothers, William Sappington, Leo Sappington; one granddaughter, Carmen Sappington.
Roscoe was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed all of the beauty that nature has to offer. Camping, farming, going to the mountains and rock hounding. Roscoe always looked forward to spending time with his family from traveling to playing cards. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Potosi, MO.
