Karen Marie Boyer of Potosi, Missouri, was born January 23, 1966, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a daughter of Nancy (Portell) Wilson and the late Kenneth Boyer. Karen departed this life on January 9, 2018, having reached the age of fifty-one years, eleven months and seventeen days.
Karen is survived by her mother, Nancy Wilson of Potosi, MO, three daughters, Tiffany Hatfield and husband Tyler of Mineral Point, MO, NaTosha Knoll and husband Jesse of Potosi, MO, Jessica Boyer of Cadet, MO, two brothers, Kenneth Boyer, Jr., and wife Lori of Albemarle, NC, Tony Boyer and wife Sissy of Norwood, NC, nine grandchildren, Dillon, Gavin, Shaelyn, Makya, Jaxen, Quinton, Keirrah, Michael and Evonie and by many other dear and special relatives and friends. In addition to her father, Karen was also preceded in death by her beloved Tom, one sister, Diana Wilson and her step-dad, Duke Wilson.
Karen had a great love for her Lord and Savior and loved to study the bible. She enjoyed doing crafts which included jewelry making, embroidery, knitting and sewing. She liked to read poetry and liked relaxing by watching clouds and drawing.
Visitation was held Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. The Funeral Service was held at 1:00PM with Brother Matt Woods officiating.
Final Burial took place at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri with Tony Boyer, Jeff Campbell, Melvin Portell, Danny Boyer, Michael Boyer and Wayne Yount acting as Pallbearers.
