Larry “Trey” Wayne Rhoades III of Sullivan, Missouri was born on Tuesday, October 21, 1997 in Sullivan, Missouri. A son of Amy Lynn (Gamblin) Courtois and Larry Rhoades Jr. Trey departed this life on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of nineteen years, seven months and eight days.
He is survived by his father, Larry Rhoades, Jr. and wife, Amanda of St. James, Missouri; his mother, Amy Lynn Courtois and Skyler Tucker of Blackwell, Missouri; two sisters, Lilly Ann Rhoades of St. James, Missouri; Graci Jane Rhoades of St. James, Missouri; grandparents, Kathleen and Greg Coffman of Leesburg, Missouri; Carl and Nancy Cummings of Cuba, Missouri; great-grandmother, Sharon Cummings of Salem, Missouri; girlfriend, Destinie Alexander of Sullivan, Missouri; also surviving are aunts, uncles, many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Bonnie Garner; Cathy Gamblin and Ronald Bunton.
Trey enjoyed being outdoors admiring the many gifts of Mother Nature, going fishing, hunting and riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes. He loved spending time with his family, especially his sisters. Trey was a momma’s boy and always looked forward to seeing her. He enjoyed playing football and collecting Batman memorabilia. Trey will be forever remembered by his family and friends for the love and laughter he shared.
Visitation was be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 3:00 PM until a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
