Thelma Mae Niehaus of Irondale, Missouri was born on Friday, November 5, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. A daughter of the late, Gladys (Phares) Dotson and the late, Hiram Dotson. Thelma departed this life on Friday, May 26, 2017 at her residence in Irondale, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-three years, six months and twenty-one days.
She is survived by three sons, Danny Niehaus of Irondale, Missouri; Mike Niehaus and wife, Pauline of Bonne Terre, Missouri; Matt Niehaus of Caledonia, Missouri; one sister, Betty Hendrix of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Lilburn Dotson of Cottleville, Missouri; Robert "Bob" Dotson of Moberly, Missouri; nine grandchildren: Sarah, Danielle, Kadee, Nick, Samantha, Julia, Zack, Gracie and Emma; seven great-grandchildren: Liam, Lane, Autumn, Hayden, Noah Isaac and Emily; also surviving are other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Dotson and Hiram Dotson.
Prior to her retirement, Thelma worked for the Glass Factory for 30 years.
Thelma enjoyed doing any kind of crafts at all, always making beautiful projects. Reading, genealogy and working in her garden, were some of her favorite pastimes. Most of all Thelma loved her family and the time they spent together, she will be very deeply missed by all.
Memorial Visitation was held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 9:00 AM with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Shirley Union Cemetery, Shirley, Missouri.
