Harold Eugene Buckley, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri was born on Thursday, August 3, 1972 in Potosi, Missouri. A son of Ann Marie (Delashmit) Buckley and the late, Harold Eugene Buckley, Sr. Eugene departed this life on Thursday, September 1, 2016 having reached the age of forty-four years and twenty-nine days.
He was united in marriage to Kimberly Thebeau on Saturday, August 15, 1998 in Potosi, Missouri.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Kimberly Buckley of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter, Kasidy Buckley of Potosi, Missouri; three sons, Kyle Anthony Buckley of Potosi, Missouri; Cody Smith and fiancé, Macy of Cadet, Missouri; Caleb Eugene Buckley of Potosi, Missouri; mother, Ann Buckley of Potosi, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ava, Coraline and Layla; three sisters, Shelly and Gordon Bess of Bonne Terre, Missouri; Joy Boyer of Farmington, Missouri; Angie Turner of Bonne Terre, Missouri; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vera and Frank Thebeau of Potosi, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Eugene Buckley, Sr. and one daughter, Mackenzie Buckley, maternal grandparents, Guy and Agnes Delashmit.
Eugene loved being outdoors, going mudding, camping and riding four wheelers. He was very active always finding something to occupy his time, with one of his favorites being building trucks. Most of all Eugene loved his family and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Service was held at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Elder Bryan Buckley, Pastor Claude Evans and Reverend Bill Brammer officiating.
Final prayers and burial took place in the Palmer Cemetery in Palmer, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Gabe Stolzer, Rick Stolzer, Kyle Compton, Kyle Wayne, Craig Smith, Chuck Dorsey, Scott Dorsey, Nick Shadrick, Nathan Jarvis and Jamie Lucas.
