Donald E. Halsted, Sr., of Cadet, Missouri was born on July 10, 1939 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. A son of the late, George Halsted and the late, Lillie Belle (Haynes) Halsted. Donald passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at his residence having reached the age of seventy-seven years, one month and five days.
He is survived by three Daughters, Tamie Petit of Zeigler, Illinois; Donna Halsted of Chicago, Illinois; Dianna Halsted of Bucker, Illinois; three sons, Donald E., Jr. and wife, Katie Halsted of Smyrna, Tennessee; Bryan Woltering of Jefferson City, Missouri; Wayne Woltering of Missouri; two sisters, Rena Pierce of North Port, Florida; Margo Jones of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Halsted, daughter, Sandra Peck, two brothers, Melvin Hintzman, Pete Halsted.
Donald served in the United States Marine Corps from October 31, 1957 to February 5, 1958.
Memorial Service was held at Apostolic Pentecostal Ministries, Cadet, Missouri at 7:00 PM, Friday, August 19, 2016, Bro. Harry Gamble officiating.
Interment was at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
